Jonah Hill "doesn't mind" wearing suits now that he's turned 30.
The actor is known for starring in comedy movies, but has recently taken on more serious roles in dramas Moneyball and The Wolf of Wall Street.
He celebrated turning 30 on December 20 and has joked it had a direct impact on his fashion sense.
"I turned 30 a couple of weeks ago and I don't mind wearing a suit now," he laughed to BBC Radio 1.
"It makes me feel like I'm an actual adult. You start to notice it subconsciously. You walk by a shop and you go, 'Hey, I might want to wear that suit in a few months.' Before, I had three T-shirts and a pair of jeans."
While he's determined to smarten up his image, the star was recently papped wearing a casual outfit for a dinner date with his The Wolf of Wall Street co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.
Jonah dressed in a coral hoodie and jeans for the occasion and laughed off the suggestion that he looked like someone approaching A-lister Leo for money.
"I look slightly homeless there, not gonna lie!" he chuckled.
"That's my buddy's hoody; he'll be excited it made international press."
Jonah has been putting his plan into action by wearing a lot of smart suits while promoting the film.
As the movie is all about well-to-do stockbrokers there was also an impressive wardrobe on set.
"We do wear all these amazing period piece suits. For the press tour it's been fun to dress all fancy," he grinned.
