Jonathan Saunders designs for Elton event

Jonathan Saunders has designed outfits for the Grey Goose Winter Ball in support of Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Now in its fifth year, the hugely popular event benefits Elton's recognised charity.

In the past the vodka brand have teamed up with the stars of the fashion industry such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Roland Mouret and Lily Cole to help raise money for the charity.

This year Jonathan will design both a menswear and a womenswear look for staff at the event, featuring his trademark print and based on his Fall/Winter 2011 collection.

The Scottish designer has also donated a cocktail dress to be auctioned off to raise funds. The winner of the dress will get a personal fitting with Jonathan and will have the opportunity to sit in the front row of his next fashion show.

The theme for this year's ball is the Architecture of Taste.

Jonathan has designed a cocktail around the theme, entitled Blue Print. The drink is made up of Grey Goose vodka and will be served on the night in customised glasses.

Legendary shoe designer Christian Louboutin has also contributed his talents to the function. Christian has created the cocktail bar for the party, which is shaped like a stiletto and coloured his trademark scarlet. This will also be auctioned off on the night.

The event takes place on October 29 in London.
