Julia Roberts 'plans Jen-An makeover'

Julia Roberts

Julia Roberts is apparently eager to have a makeover.

The 46-year-old Oscar nominee is apparently in awe of the fashion choices Jennifer, 45, has been making of late. The star has cut her famously long hair and been praised for her fresh-faced appearance, all of which has reportedly been noted by Julia.

“Julia has developed a bit of an obsession with Jennifer, especially in the looks department,” an insider told RadarOnline.

“They are close in age and now Julia wants a makeover along the lines of what Jen has had in the last year and to get same raves on the red carpet as her fellow A-list star.”

Julia is seemingly keen to get the ball rolling on her plan quickly. She has already spoken to some people who work with Jennifer, including her hairdresser and make-up artist. The star is apparently hoping for advice on how to update her look so she appears more current.

One of the reasons for this is said to be her children. She has nine-year-old twins Hazel and Finn and Henry, six, with her husband Daniel Moder. Being a mom means she has little time to look after herself, but the star apparently thinks now is the time to change that.

“It remains to be seen whether Jen’s glam squad will help Julia out in a major way, as they are fiercely loyal to her,” the insider explained.

Earlier this month Julia attended the Oscars in a black lace peplum gown by Givenchy, seemingly showing her more fashion-forward side. Her hair was styled in a loose way, with her stylist explaining the plan was for her to look relaxed.

“It was slightly '30s inspired. It’s very loose, with a side part, and a very loose wave in the front. The rest is very piled up in the back in a messy bun. It’s uneven. It’s messy, deconstructed,” he told People, adding that it took 45 minutes to finish.
