Julianne Moore is happy to age

Julianne Moore

Julianne Moore doesn't worry about ageing.

The 53-year-old actress is known for her youthful looks and has publically shunned getting Botox or plastic surgery.

Rather than put off her changing appearance Julianne feels it's a privilege to get older and doesn't fixate on her facade.

"Hell yeah! I’d like to think that I can age as naturally as possible. I don’t want to come out condemning anything anybody does, because I think that all of these things can contribute to making people feel better about themselves, and that’s great," she gushed to online magazine The Edit.

"But I also want to look like myself. I mean, we’re not going to live forever. You could be dead at 45, and guess what? Then you don’t have to worry about aging... I feel like I’d like to be 90. I’d like to be 100. I may not be lucky enough to have that happen. But, boy, I’m going to try.”

Julianne has struck up a close friendship with designer Tom Ford and is often spotted in his pieces. She also starred in his 2009 movie A Single Man alongside Colin Firth.

Speaking about their bond, the flame-haired beauty shared what she likes best about Tom.

“I don’t know that I’m his muse. I’m definitely a friend. He’s not mysterious about fashion, which I love. I don’t think it’s a mysterious business," she explained.

"I think it’s something that should be a lot of fun, and expressive, and obviously have some cultural relevance. It’s about who we are at that moment in time. He’s just a great, wonderfully creative and soulful person, and a really good friend.”
