Justin Bieber has 'inspirational' scent
Justin Bieber believes the name of his fragrance is "inspirational".
The 18-year-old star's debut perfume for women, Someday, raked in more than $3 million in the first three weeks of sales last year, topping the previous record set by Beyoncé Knowles' Heat perfume in February 2010.
In an interview with Australia radio's The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the Canadian singer has addressed the reason he named the scent Someday.
"I think it is an inspirational title that leaves it open to your imagination to decide," he said. "It's just a name that sticks out and people remember."
Justin has previously spoken about why he chose the title.
"Someday is the idea that we can change the world, make our dreams come true, and even be with the one person that means everything" he said.
"Giving back has always been incredibly important to me, but let's be honest...I wanted to create a fragrance for my female fans that I can't get enough of...that I want to get next to and I can't stay away from."
Justin says he chose between different scents while he was on tour. A special edition of the fragrance was released for Valentine's Day with profits from the $55 bottle split between charities Pencils of Promise and Make A Wish Foundation.
Justin has revealed his future plans concerning the scent.
"Everything is a big process. It takes time and it's great I'm finally coming out with a second line of it," he told the show of plans to release different branches from the line.
