Justin Timberlake 'big fan of straighteners'

Justin Timberlake has reportedly become attached to hair straighteners in a quest to rid himself of his boyband curls.

The actor-and-singer reportedly feels embarrassed about the curly locks he sported in his boyband days.

Sources revealed that contrary to Justin's previous explanation about his newly-straightened hair being the result of "a hairdryer", he is in fact using the straightening appliances on a daily basis to perfect his crop.

"Justin associates curly hair with his *NSYNC days," a source told British magazine Heat. "And [he] thinks it makes him look stupid. So he's been getting his hair straightened."

Justin's new found appreciation for the styling tool is rumoured to be causing his wife, actress Jessica Biel, some concern.

The 31-year-old brunette beauty reportedly feels Justin is turning vain, and is spending more time in front of the mirror than she is.

"Jessica has been teasing him about how long it takes him to get ready," the source continued.

It has been previously noted that Justin's sleek new hair started at around the same time his friendship with designer Tom Ford began to blossom.

The 32-year-old has been seen wearing numerous dapper suits created by the fashion house frontman, and in March this year Tom weighed in on Justin's new look himself.

"I happen to like the hair straighter," Tom joked to British newspaper The Telegraph about Justin ridding himself of his curls.
