Kanye West 'relocating to UK to aid label'
Kanye West has permanently based himself in the UK in the hope of becoming a major fashion player, according to reports.
The rapper-turned-fashion-designer launched his clothing label DW Kanye West at Paris Fashion Week in October. The hip-hop star spent stints in Britain while preparing for his collection's premiere and has now reportedly decided to base himself in London.
Kanye held a party for his clothing brand in the UK capital last week and was overheard gushing about his plans.
"He went home for the holidays but was proclaiming that he is now based in the capital and would return in early January. He's close to the lecturers and students at the Central Saint Martins College and being in London means he can stop by for advice any time," a source told British newspaper The Sun.
"He'll be over here preparing his Paris Fashion Week show, due in March. He's also been looking for a studio."
Kanye was also spotted flirting with models at his pre-Christmas bash. The 34-year-old star was seen taking full advantage of the gorgeous women at his no-expense-spared party.
"While at the party Kanye was giving models his email address and cheekily asking them to send him photos," the source added.
DW Kanye's debut show received mixed reviews when it premiered at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week in October.
