Kanye West unveils sexy collection
Kanye West showed a sexed-up fashion collection at Paris Fashion Week yesterday.
The rapper-turned-designer debuted his Fall/Winter 2012 collection amidst a dramatic runway of dry ice, which set a sultry tone for the much-anticipated display.
Kanye's newest line didn't disappoint on the sexiness scale, featuring a range of leather dresses, opulent fur, bandaged thigh high heeled boots and skin-tight liquid leather leggings.
Models in leather collars strutted down the runway holding long whips, which added to the controversial S&M-style theme.
Black was the preferred colour for the show, with muted tones of cream, grey and fawn sneaking in to soften the collection.
Knitwear also featured in the runway display which further diminished the otherwise harshly styled collection.
Many stars including P. Diddy, Kim Kardashian and Rosario Dawson graced the front row of Kanye's much-anticipated second show.
Before the event, Kim tweeted a picture of herself wearing a pair of Kanye West for Giuseppe Zanotti heels, which cost around $6,000.
"I j'adore my shoes tonight! (sic)," she excitedly exclaimed on the social networking site.
Kanye launched his clothing label Kanye West at Paris Fashion Week in October last year. His eponymous line was largely panned by critics, so much was riding on his latest offering at the prestigious calendar event this season.
The 34-year-old star took to his Twitter page to share his plans with fans at the beginning of the year.
"I love being back at my fashion office learning and creating. It's so challenging and fun and I'm surrounded by amazing people. You guys might think I have some type of backing for my line but I don't. I did the first fashion show out of my own pocket and used the money I made touring to follow my passion (sic)."
