Britain's Duchess of Cambridge wore a silver sequinned dress by Jenny Packham to an event last night.
It marked her first official engagement since the couple welcomed their son Prince George Alexander Louis into the world in July.
Catherine looked relaxed and happy at the high-profile event, with her figure trim and showing no signs of post-pregnancy pounds. She opted for a gown by one of her favourite designers for the event, with the Jenny Peckham sleeveless dress made of silver sequins. It clung to her body and dropped to the floor, with a tight band around her waist allowing the fabric to fall flatteringly over her chest.
The duchess accessorised with silver snakeskin sandals with a mild platform by Jimmy Choo and a simple silver bracelet on her right wrist.
Catherine is known for her fresh-faced beauty and stuck to what she knows best when it came to her make-up. Her eyes were lined with black kohl and her lips kept nude, with a subtle sweeping of pink blush adding some colour to her face.
Her brunette hair was as full as ever and left down, with a slight curl at the bottom. Her tresses shone and were in great condition, rubbishing reports earlier this week that pregnancy had affected her most famous asset.
William opted for a classic black tuxedo at the event, which was for a charity that is close to his heart. The prince is patron of the Tusk foundation and the awards were held to celebrate outstanding achievement in African conservation.
Yesterday's appearance came shortly after it was confirmed Prince William had left the Armed Forces following seven-and-a-half years' service. He will take the next year to decide exactly what direction he wants to go in in terms of his public service and is expected to do a lot more charity work.
