Katie Holmes 'relaxes at Korean spa'

Katie Holmes

Katie Holmes has been visiting a Korean spa in New York City to keep her skin looking great.

The mother-of-one has been under a lot of stress recently, with her divorce from Tom Cruise being finalised last summer. Now the star seems back to her vibrant self thanks some indulgent treatments from the Korean spa.

“She’s always been very sporty, but divorce takes all that energy away from you. With all the stress she’s been going through, it meant Katie got pretty thin for a while. But now she’s feeling good again, and is back to her strong, healthy self… Everybody’s been complimenting her on how amazing she looks. It makes her feel like she can achieve anything she wants in life,” a source told British magazine Look.

The New York City Spa is equipped with everything the star could wish for. Katie gets to take a break from reality and is treated to hot tubs, whirlpools, full loofah body scrubs, facials, and massages. Since her attendance at the spa, there has been an obvious improvement not only in Katie’s appearance, but also her happiness.

“It’s bliss and Katie swears by it for keeping her skin hydrated. No one knows her there either – it’s full of old Korean women who don’t care about her past. It’s the perfect antidote to her slightly crazy celebrity life,” the insider said.

Katie is now the face of H. Stern jewellery and has made friends with previous spokeswoman, Kate Moss. Katie has gotten in contact with the fashion model and arranged plans to meet up. The two not only have H. Stern jewellery in common, but also bond over their love of fashion and style.

“Kate was the previous face of H. Stern jewellery so Katie asked her for advice. They plan to meet up the next time they’re both in the same country,” the source explained.
