Katy Perry promoting new perfume

Katy Perry is gearing up to launch her second fragrance.

The American songstress will extend her perfume brand next month with the launch of a second scent. The perfume will be available exclusively at Nordstrom and on, according to WWD.

Katy created the upcoming scent with fragrance developer and previous collaborator, Gigantic Parfums. It is intended to be a sister scent to her first perfume Purr.

Katy created her yet-to-be-titled second fragrance while on her California Dreams World Tour, in support of her highly-successful third studio album Teenage Dream.

The tour began in February and has visited Europe, Australia, Japan and North America.

The 26-year-old star is keeping fans in suspense when it comes to the perfume's name. Katy will invite her followers to guess the title on Twitter next week.

WWD reports that there will be a reward for the lucky winner.

"The winners will then be selected at random to receive various prizes, including bottles of perfume, and the potential to meet Perry at a launch event in December," the site explained.

Purr debuted a year ago, and was received well. It is now available in 54 countries.
