Katy Perry says she'll be wearing an "original punk" inspired dress to Monday's Met Gala.
The singer discussed what she is wearing to the prestigious event which will be held on Monday in New York City.
Katy was careful not to spill too many secrets, but did give some hints about the overall look of the dress she's chosen.
"I can't give too much away, but I picked it out right when it debuted on the runway," Katy told the Cut. "I contacted the designer right away. I've known I'd wear it for a couple of months now. [One little hint?] It will definitely be me. Let's just say, I'll be an original punk. I love a theme!"
Katy hinted at the kind of style she could be going for with her flawless appearance in New York last night. The popstar stepped out in a blue strapless fishtail Vera Wang dress for the Delete Blood Cancer Gala.
The 28-year-old teamed the designer frock with Jimmy Choo heels, a Judith Leiber clutch bag and striking Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.
She later joined the dress's designer to pose for photographs at the bash, giving a closer look at her flawless make-up and elegant updo.
Earlier in the day, Katy looked equally gorgeous when she headed to a matinee performance of Kinky Boots in the Big Apple.
She wore a tight-fitting floral print dress and her hair in loose curls as she enjoyed the musical.
