Keira Knightley is reportedly set to wear a Karl Lagerfeld gown to her wedding.

The British actress, 28, is reportedly set to wed her fiancé James Righton in France this weekend.

Keira, who is a Chanel ambassador, is tipped to walk down the aisle in a gown from the French fashion house on her big day.

The happy couple got engaged in summer 2012 and began residing together in a multi-million pound East London house recently. But Keira has been coy about her wedding plans to date. Back in November, the star told Fashionista she still had “no idea” what designer she’d be wearing on the big day. “I haven’t actually even started to think about how the hell I’m going to get married. So once I think about that, I’ll try to think about a dress,” she said.

Details have now emerged that Keira and the Klaxons keyboardist are to wed in a small, private ceremony near Nice in the south of France. According to the New York Post, Keira, who had earlier arrived in France with her mother, was spotted greeting James at the airport.

Wearing a Karl Lagerfeld creation to her nuptials would be a natural choice for the star, who has oft professed her admiration for the designer

"Karl's amazing," she told WWD on the set of a new short film for Chanel by Karl Lagerfeld called Once Upon a Time...

And the affection is mutual; Karl personally handpicked Keira as the face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle perfume campaign.

According to British newspaper The Sun, the wedding is due to take place sometime today.
