Kelly Brook: Cannes dressing is arduous
Kelly Brook says getting ready for the Cannes Film Festival is a "military procedure".
The British model-and-actress attended several glitzy events last week including the premiere of Brad Pitt's new film Killing Them Softly and P. Diddy's yacht party.
Kelly had a great time at the prestigious French festival, but admits the hectic schedule was tiring.
"It takes a while, I think for a red carpet event it is usually around two hours," she told UK TV show Lorraine when asked how long she spends getting ready. "Especially in Cannes, it is like a military procedure - every day you are going to an event or going to a meeting and it is really all about what you wear. But I love it, I love clothes and I love fashion, it is good fun but you do get pretty exhausted by it all."
The 32-year-old beauty dazzled in a floor-length multi-coloured jewelled dress at Cannes this year.
Kelly turned heads in the dramatic gown that featured an array of brightly-coloured embellishment and a plunging neckline. Although the frock grabbed headlines, Kelly admits she didn't choose the dramatic outfit.
"I did a photoshoot for a New York-based magazine and they wanted to capture the craziness of Cannes, so they were photographing everything I was doing," she explained. "I wouldn't usually wear that for the red carpet so it was just for the photoshoot."
