Kelly Osbourne loves monochrome
Kelly Osbourne loves the fact that stars are shunning colour in favour for black and white.
The 29-year-old star hosted the Young Hollywood Awards over the weekend, where many celebrities shunned colour in favour of black and white on the red carpet. Colbie Caillat went for an all-black look, while Ashley Tisdale stunned in white at the event, which aired on Monday.
"Love the White and Black summer trend on the blue carpet… Be sure to catch all your favorite stars including yours truly hosting at #TheYoungHollywoodAwards, airing tonight at 8pm on The CW! (sic)," Kelly gushed on her blog.
The purple-haired star has plenty of practice when it comes to assessing the outfits of the rich and famous. She's the host of Fashion Police, where she puts her two cents in with regards to others' sense of style.
In 2013 Kelly walked away with the Style Icon award at the ceremony. This year there was no Style Icon prize, but the You're So Fancy honour went to Bella Thorne.
Prior to the show, Kelly had been gearing up with excitement.
"I’m so excited to be hosting the 16th Annual Young Hollywood Awards this year in Los Angeles. It was such an honor to win the “Style Icon” Award last year and this year will be even more fun as the master of ceremonies," she posted in the lead-up.
"Hollywood’s hottest young acts will all be in attendance and Trey Songz, Colbie Caillat and Derek Hough will be performing as well. (sic)"
