Kelly Osbourne claims celebrities and designers "love it" when she criticises their wardrobes.

The host of the E! TV show Fashion Police isn't afraid to speak her mind. The 27-year-old shared anecdotes about the times when she has come face-to-face with the celebrities she has slated.

"I was in a restaurant bathroom the other day and Julia Roberts was in there washing her hands and she told me she thought it was brilliant," Kelly told British magazine Fabulous.

"Karl Lagerfeld loves it too. We are always having a pop at [Glee star] Lea Michele and she thinks it's hilarious. I mean, we say b***hy things, but it's really funny and everyone knows it's tongue in cheek."

In her role as a fashion commentator she works alongside outspoken presenter Joan Rivers, who is known for her sharp tongued criticisms of Hollywood's leading ladies' wardrobes. Kelly dismisses their commentary as being harsh and is adamant it is just light hearted banter.

"We've got invites to all the great fashion shows so everyone understands it's just harmless fun," Kelly continued. "But very funny at the same time."
