Kendall Jenner is ‘proud’ face of Calvin Klein
Kendall Jenner says starring in Calvin Klein Jeans’ new photo campaign is a “dream come true”.
The 19-year-old supermodel, who achieved fame on reality TV show Keeping Up with the Kardashians, has been incredibly successful in her fashion career of late.
And on Thursday it was announced Kendall is following in the footsteps of fashion icons Kate Moss and Brooke Shields by starring in a series of Calvin Klein Jeans ads.
“Just me in #mycalvins. Proud to be the face of the new @calvinklein #mycalvins Denim Series!” Kendall wrote on Instagram in a caption attached to a black and white picture of her donning Calvin Klein clothing.
Kendall’s new campaign was shot by photographer Alasdair McLellan and styled by Melanie Ward.
The model takes on sultry poses in the images as she wears outfits from Calvin Klein Jeans’ unisex Denim Series, which is inspired by streetwear and fitness clothing.
“I’m honoured to be a part of it, honestly,” Kendall told America’s Vogue magazine. “It’s iconic. It’s [a campaign] I would have seen all over and thought how cool it would be to be a part of.”
Kendall also said shooting with Alasdair was “super fun” despite the fact it took place on a drab day.
“I mean the whole day was rainy,” she noted. “When it rains, I have good energy, I’m in a good mood.”
Kendall channelled previous Calvin Klein Jean models Brooke and Kate while voguing at the photoshoot.
She believes these women are some of the most inspiring supermodels of all time.
“They’re always my inspiration for anything,” Kendall smiled.
The collection will be at Brown Thomas Ireland.
