Kerry Washington takes best dressed crown
Kerry Washington, Justin Timberlake and Britain’s Duchess of Cambridge have all made Vanity Fair’s 2013 International Best-Dressed List.
The Scandal actress is having a fantastic year so far, after getting married and landing an Emmy nomination. Now her fashion feats have been lauded by the famous style bible.
Kerry is renowned for turning heads on the red carpet, with the magazine praising the stunning pastel pink and green Miu Miu gown she wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar party. Other notable outfits include a lemon yellow Jason Wu gown seen at the CFDA Awards.
Kerry, 36, is clearly a Vanity Fair favourite, having graced the cover of the magazine’s recent August issue. Her favourite labels include Michael Kors, Gucci, Marchesa and Miu Miu.
Britain’s Duchess of Cambridge has also made the list.
This is the fourth time the new mom has made an appearance, and it seems her various public engagements this year have impressed Vanity Fair again. The magazine praised Catherine for choosing labels such as Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, Issa and Alice Temperley. She made a strong style statement with the pink Alexander McQueen coat and Jane Corbett hat worn at the Trooping the Colour ceremony in June.
Justin Timberlake is also ranked highly, with the actor-and-singer praised for his love of elegant Tom Ford suits, including the tuxedo he sported at the 55th Grammy Awards.
Victoria Beckham, Charlize Theron, Gisele Bündchen and her husband Tom Brady all make an appearance on the latest list.
New additions this year include Rolling Stones rocker Keith Richards who insists he doesn’t shop, along with Beyoncé Knowles and burlesque dancer Dita von Teese. Dita revealed her favourite item of clothing is he ‘Hussar’ gown from Jean Paul Gaultier's 2002 winter haute couture collection.
