Kevin Hart left red faced after giving awkward sports bra advice to preteen daughter

Kevin Hart found the discussion more "tough" than he anticipated.

Comedian Kevin Hart was left feeling sensationally silly after having a sports bra conversation with his preteen daughter.

The 36-year-old Ride Along star is used to cracking jokes, but when it came to giving advice to his pubescent 11-year-old daughter Heaven Leigh on what undergarments to select, the discussion proved to be no laughing matter.

“I had to have the sports bra conversation with my little girl,” he recalled to hostess Kelly Ripa on Thursday (16Jun16) while appearing on U.S. talk show Live with Kelly. “That was tough, because I didn’t know how to articulate what I was trying to say, and it just came out."

“I know she was confused because I was confused by the end of it,” he added. “I was like, ‘It’s time to hold ’em down.’ That’s how I went into it, and she was like, ‘What?’

“I was like, ‘You gotta strap ’em up - make sure that everything is where it’s supposed to be, because last thing you wanna do is hit a bump and (have) stuff fall out,’ you know what I mean?”

As the Live with Kelly audience burst out into laughter following Kevin's description of the beyond awkward conversation, he garnered even more chuckles when detailing how he managed to conclude the cringeworthy fashion discussion.

“She was like, ‘What are you saying?!’ and I was like, ‘Do you want breakfast or not?’ I didn’t know where to go from there at all," he confessed.

Although he's relatively clueless about the pains of female puberty, Kevin is hugely knowledgeable about all things fitness and diet related.

In a previous interview with People magazine, the star revealed he is committed to taking good care of himself.

“I work out every day, and I take off every other Sunday," he shared. "I’m not a big runner, but I try to make sure I put some time in on that mill. I run anywhere from 2 to 3 miles a day.”
