Khloé Kardashian hooked on John Lennon-style shades

Khloé Kardashian

Khloé Kardashian loves "John Lennon-inspired" sunglasses.

The 29-year-old star regularly takes to her Celebuzz blog to share her fashion and beauty must-haves with fans. Her latest post is right in time for the warmer weather settling in and advises fans to get stylish.

"Spring is here and summer is near, dolls!!! Time to get those sensitive eyes covered! But instead of picking up a usual pair of sunglasses, this year it’s time to embrace the unconventional kind. No more aviators and basic black shades, let’s go for the creative shapes and cool tints!" she wrote.

Khloé has already made a name for herself in the fashion industry, with ventures such as the Kardashian Kollection alongside her sisters Kim and Kourtney becoming a hit.

The brunette beauty gushed about her favourite design of shades. She cites the iconic round-rimmed specs worn by the late Beatles musician John Lennon as a great look.

"Can we at least bring back these John Lennon-inspired shades?! Add some flare to your stare, ladies! Here’s some of my fave examples of sunglasses that are groovy and unique! (sic)" she added.

It isn't just accessories Khloé thinks people should experiment with more. She recently urged females to buy brighter shades for their wardrobe.

“Be colourful, whether you are mixing solid colours or including one key item in pastels like cobalt blue, yellow or coral, it will brighten up the room,” she told People. “Dare yourself to be colourful even those of you who play it safe with neutrals.”

Her older sibling Kourtney chimed in as well, sharing her own outlook on dressing for a day out.

“Summer for me is bohemian, eclectic and I always love white for summer. I love layering in summer too because it can be so hot outside and so cold indoors," she said.
