Khloe Kardashian's denim line bosses deny copyright infringement

The reality TV star may be in trouble over her Good American designs.

Khloe Kardashian and bosses at her Good American denim line are denying claims of copyright infringement.

The officials responded to allegations from an independent designer named Destiney Bleu, whose company, debleudazzled, has supplied clothes to Beyonce, Serena Williams and Khloe herself.

They claim Khloe tweeted a link to a Good American promotional video on Thursday (01June17) which showcased some glittery items that Bleu recognised as very similar to her own.

Destiney then retweeted the video on Friday (02June17), writing the caption: "When someone buys 1 of everything on your site, has you make them custom @dbleudazzled work, never posts it or wears it, then copies it."

She fired off additional tweets to bolster her claims the same day. One of them read: "I have a list of witnesses along with a cash register full of receipts. We all know whats (sic) really going on here."

In another she wrote: "I have emails with 20+ screenshots of items they wanted to buy, a messenger that delivered the items on seveal (sic) occasions & paid invoices."

Khloe's partners at the successful denim line wasted no time in responding to the claims. On Saturday (03Jun17), they posted images of Cher, Diana Ross, and Britney Spears sporting sheer and glittery bodysuits on the brand's Instagram account. The company's social media bosses added the following caption to the Cher image: "Important to know your fashion history #nofrauds."

Good American officials then released a statement on Monday (05June17) which read: "Under no circumstances did Good American or Khloe Kardashian infringe on another brand’s intellectual property and we are going through the proper legal channels to handle the situation."

Khloe has not addressed the controversy personally. Her last Instagram post about her fashion line featured images of model Ashley Graham wearing Good American cut-offs from a Harper's Bazaar UK cover story.

"I mean, wow!!!," Khloe raved on her account on Saturday, "@theashleygraham looking so beautiful in her @goodamerican denim cut-off blue shorts in her @bazaaruk cover story!! Strong, beautiful and body confident... that's what we're all about!!"
