Kim Kardashian defended by trainer

Personal trainer Harley Pasternak thinks it's wrong for people to comment on Kim Kardashian's weight.

Harley Pasternak is the go-to guy for celebrities wanting to lose weight and has worked with the likes of Katy Perry, Rihanna and Amanda Seyfried.

Kim is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend Kanye West and has been scrutinised for her expanding curves and maternity fashion choices.

"No, it's not fair at all," Harley argued to Britain's Star magazine.

"It's something that she has dealt with through her whole career - there are way more people that love her than don't, but those who don't shout louder!"

Harley also trains with Kanye, Kim's mom Kris and her sister Kourtney.

When working with the mother-to-be he tries to tone things down.

"Right now she's pregnant so she doesn't need weight-loss help!" he explained.

"She's a great friend of my wife and I - and Kanye is one of my closest friends. We just hope the baby is healthy."

In the past it has been reported Kim is struggling to embrace her new shape and is keen to lose the pounds when her baby arrives.

Harley will be there for the new mom every step of the way.

"Yes, of course, but we haven't discussed any plans yet," he revealed.

For pregnant women, Harley recommends healthy smoothies with lots of vegetables and nutrients.
