Kim Kardashian says her experience of dressing while pregnant has sparked her interest in designing maternity wear in the future.
The reality TV star discussed how she'd like to expand the Kardashian Kollection, which she's designed in collaboration with her sisters for British high street store Dorothy Perkins.
The 32-year-old says her pregnancy has raised the possibility of the trio turning their hands to creating stylish maternity wear.
"There's not a lot out there that I like, so it would be great to add that to the line," Kim told British magazine Grazia about how she'd like to develop the line. "It's been a big learning curve for us."
Kim recently attended this year's Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala where she made a statement dressed in a floral dress designed by Riccardo Tisci, complete with matching gloves and shoes.
Kim was heavily criticised for her maternity style choice, but insiders have since revealed the brunette beauty reportedly feels her effort to be more stylish at the event "paid off".
"Kim's always wanted to go to the Met Ball, but has never got an invite - until now. The Met Ball was such an amazing night for her - she really felt like she was accepted by the fashion world," a source told British magazine Heat.
"Kim's tried really hard with her style this year - hiring Nicola Formichetti [who works with Lady Gaga] as her stylist and getting Kanye to advise her, and it's all paid off."
Images of Kim snapped in her bikini while on holiday in Greece are said to have also pleased the star. She reportedly feels the pictures show her body is exactly as it should be for a woman who is seven months pregnant. This is said to have boosted her confidence after the recent backlash against her looks.
"Kim has reclaimed her image: she feels sexy again. She finally feels like she's blossoming. Her figure looks exactly as she expected it should when she was pregnant, with amazing curves," the source continued. "Her skin and hair are glowing. And she has Kanye back by her side. These bikini photos have helped her feel like herself again."
