Kim Kardashian: I want style tips from fans

Kim Kardashian loves asking her Twitter followers for style advice ahead of a big event.

The reality TV star is famed for her alluring style and regularly graces the red carpet in elegant designs and ultra-glamorous make-up.

Despite knowing exactly what suits her, Kim loves getting style tips from her Twitter fans.

"I think what my followers like is just when I'm real. I like to let them inside my life as much as possible and connect with people on a personal level," she explained in an interview with WWD.

"I love to ask advice from my followers. For example, if I have to choose a lipstick colour or a hairstyle for a big event, it's nice to get everyone's input. I love to tweet inspirational quotes I read online, tweet with my family members and respond to my Twitter dolls."

Kim also has her own personal website where she interacts with fans. The raven haired-beauty thinks it's important for fans to know they appreciate the products instead of just placing their names on them "randomly".

"It's not just about placing an ad in a magazine or on TV anymore," Kim revealed.

"It's about connecting with your audience and keeping them involved - showing [them] that we aren't just placing our name on random products, but that these are products that we personally use and love."

Meanwhile, chief executive officer of Lighthouse Beauty - which produces scents with Kim, Khloé and Khloé's husband, Lamar Odom - Philip Zellner has revealed the success of the famous family's brand.

The executive says the multi-talented brood appeal to a wide audience.

"The whole Kardashian-Jenner brand is growing incredibly fast," he said.

"I believe it hasn't peaked yet, partially because of the depth of the family. With so many individuals being involved, it brings in so many different audiences - with the youngest sisters being in their teens, and the three older girls in their 20s and 30s."
