Kim K's 'stretchmark therapy'

Kim Kardashian is said to have had injections for her stretchmarks before her wedding.

The 33-year-old star tied the knot with rapper Kanye West on Saturday during an extravagant ceremony in Florence, Italy. Ahead of the big day Kim is said to have worked hard to get into shape, which she began doing after giving birth to daughter North last June.

One of the treatments she is said to have put herself through involved 12 injections to remove the last signs of stretchmarks on her tummy.

"Carboxy works by injecting CO2 into the stretchmark. The pH in your blood drops, which makes the body send more oxygen and nutrients to that area, helping the skin heal and repair the stretchmark," cosmetic surgery consultant and author Wendy Lewis, who goes by the nickname is The Knife Coach, told British magazine Look.

"Kim wanted to ensure she looked flawless in her underwear, especially for the wedding night," an insider added. "Kim feels sexier than she ever has done in her entire life. Her stretchmarks have totally gone and you'd never guess that she'd had a baby by looking at her."

Kim and Kanye threw a lavish party in Paris last Friday evening before the wedding. While in the French capital, Kim reportedly discovered she needed to fly her favourite cosmetic surgeon over to fix a last-minute blip.

"When she got to Paris, she did a photoshoot to test her make-up and wasn't happy with the results. She panicked because she felt she had a visible groove between her brows. Kim decided the way to handle it was with some Botox," the insider continued.

"There are lots of doctors in Europe who could have done it, but she wouldn't take any chances. It cost her around £45k as she had to pay them for several days off, plus their first-class flights and five-star accommodation, but it was worth it to Kim."
