Kim named 'style muse'
André Leon Talley has named Kim Kardashian one of his "enchanting angels".
The former editor-at-large of US Vogue took to Zappos Couture to write a complimentary article about the 33-year-old reality TV star.
He acknowledged that the fiancée of Kanye West often gets a "bad wrap" for her fashion choices, but recalled some of his favourite looks on her.
In a gushing end to the feature he referred to Kim as an "enchanting angel".
"Thanks @OfficialALT for including me as your Style Muse on @zapposcouture! #zeecee..." Kim wrote on Twitter.
On her blog she added: "So excited to be featured by Andre Leon Talley as a Style Muse on Zappos Couture. Check out his article here!! (sic)"
Kim and her mom Kris Jenner were recently criticised for stepping out in matching outfits, with the former wearing a cream silk pussy-bow blouse and oversized coat in the same colour.
Her mother also went for a high-necked top in white, with a large coat and high-waisted pants in the same colour.
However, negative comments aren't stopping Kim from expanding her fashion empire, which already includes lines for Lipsy and Dorothy Perkins with her sisters Khloé and Kourtney.
The three socialites have now unveiled a children's collection in partnership with Jupi Corp.
Kim is a mother to daughter North, who was born last June, and revealed why she was keen to get involved.
"Our grandmother opened a children's fashion store, and from an early age I adored baby fashion," she said in a statement.
"Later when Penelope [Kourtney's daughter] was born, my sisters and I had so many ideas for how we wanted to dress her, but didn't always find what we were envisioning. Now, as a mom, I cherish the time my baby and I spend together getting her dressed. The items in this collection are exactly what I have imagined for her.”
