Kim 'to be brunette bride'

Kim Kardashian reportedly wants to be a "brunette bride" in her quest to have a weeding as classy as Britain's Duchess of Cambridge.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is marrying fiancé Kanye West later this year. Their nuptials will be taking place in Paris, with sources saying the date has been pushed forwarded to May.

Kim recently swapped her blonde locks for a chocolate hue because she wants a darker style for her the wedding, says her hair colourist Tracey Cunningham.

"She loved being blonde and I was surprised she wanted to suddenly go back to brunette. She probably wants to be a brunette bride and it will be easier to envisage how her dress will look with her wedding colour," Tracy told British magazine Grazia.

"She came in with a picture of a model she liked the hair colour of and told me to copy it. She is confident both light and dark and is really versatile - she looks amazing both ways but she absolutely loved the final result. It still has hints of light colour in there.

"Kim felt and looked beautiful."

Sources close to the curvaceous star have speculated that her new hair colour was inspired by Britain's Duchess of Cambridge.

They even say that 33-year-old Kim wants to emulate Catherine's "classy" look when she married Prince William.

"Wedding plans are going full steam ahead. Kim loved being blonde and Kanye was a massive fan, but for their wedding day she wants to look as classy as Kate did on her wedding day, and that means darker hair," a source previously told Grazia.

Earlier this month it seemed as though Kim was regretting hitting the hair colour bottle, when she took to her Mobio INsider account to express her dismay about going dark.

"I'm so annoyed I dyed my hair dark! I wanted to switch it up since I feel everyone went light, and we started filming a new season of Keeping Up With the Kardashian[s], so wanted a fresh look. BUT now I am missing my light hair! HELP!!! What do I do? Go light again or stay dark and get used to it? (sic)" she posted.
