Kourtney Kardashian never has an excuse to avoid exercise while her sister Khloe is around.

Kourtney Kardashian calls her sister Khloe “Miss Motivator” as she’s so good at encouraging her to work out.

The 36-year-old star has been flaunting an enviably toned physique of late, with regular photos on Instagram showing off her svelte figure. Having three young kids means Kourtney is easily distracted from focusing on exercise, but luckily younger sibling Khloe, 31, won’t let her back out.

“I’ve been working out with Khloe,” Kourtney explained to Britain’s Closer magazine. “We’re workout buddies and she keeps me in check. I call her my Miss Motivator because even when I’m tired and have been up all night with one of the kids, she kicks my ass and gets me to the gym! She’s my fitness inspiration.”

Though there appears to be another reason Kourtney is throwing herself into exercise; since breaking up from her long-time partner Scott Disick in June (15), the brunette beauty has kept herself busy by working out. Earlier this month she revealed the strict new regime has helped her deal with the anxiety surrounding her split and that she’s had to force herself to improve her wellbeing.

"Everyone deals with hard times in their lives differently," she wrote on her website. "I'm generally not a nervous person but I get anxious. I also get nauseous and feel like I can't eat when it is really bad, but I force myself to stay healthy.

"One thing I've found that really helps is working out. I try to exercise five days a week. I usually start with a quick run or jumping rope to warm up. I have to do something fast to really kill it. And I definitely need good music."
