Kristen Bell's Oscar dress toilet dilemma

Kristen Bell found her Roberto Cavalli Oscars dress uncomfortable.

The blonde actress looked stunning at the 2014 Academy Awards earlier this month. She wore an ivory mermaid-hem Roberto Cavalli dress with Brian Atwood shoes, a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch bag and Piaget jewellery.

Despite her flawless appearance, Kristen admits it wasn't very comfortable to wear. Speaking on Live With Kelly and Michael the 33-year-old star even revealed how she went to the toilet during the evening.

"Nope [it wasn't comfortable]. And I didn’t realise that until I got into it,” she laughed.

“There was a situation... there was a Mason jar involved. Like you guys haven’t peed into a Mason jar before in a huge ball gown!”

Oscars host Ellen DeGeneres treated the star-studded crowd to dozens of pizzas, which were delivered in the middle of the ceremony.

Kristen recalled how excited she and other guests were when the food arrived as she wasn't able to eat beforehand.

“This was my first time going [to the Oscars]... You have a hair and a make-up person, [so] by the time you get into the dress you realise that you’ve been sitting there for like three hours,” she mused.

“And then there’s always traffic, so that’s almost four hours. Then you get there and that’s why everyone in the audience looks emaciated, because everyone’s hungry!”

Kristen gave birth to hers and husband Dax Shepard's first child, daughter Lincoln, last March. She previously insisted she wasn't worried about gaining weight during her pregnancy as she was focused on becoming a mother.

"I refused to worry about something I could not change, and I still refuse. Look, I'm like any other woman. All this evolved [stuff] that I'm telling you is my mantra: It's not something I practice naturally," she told

"I had to surrender to not worrying about the way I looked, how much I weighed, because that's just part of the journey of having a baby. I am not a woman whose self-worth comes from her dress size."
