Kristen Stewart needs 'warm' Twilight hair hue
Kristen Stewart's Twilight hair needed "depth and warmth" to make her look her "best", says her hair colourist.
The actress plays Bella Swan in the hugely successful vampire franchise. Kristen can currently be seen in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1.
The stunning star boasts long, rich brunette tresses in the movie, and her on-set hair colourist, Jennifer J, has revealed the secrets behind creating the hue.
"Since this was the last sequel to the Twilight series, I had to stay true to all the returning characters. For Bella, it was imperative to me to make her the best Bella anyone has ever seen and that to me was through her colour," she explained in an interview with Beauty High.
"Her hair needed to have depth and warmth and stay in the warm, reddish brown tones, but it needed to have shine and vibrancy. There will be a slight change in the last Breaking Dawn film but I need to keep that a secret!"
Robert Pattinson plays vampire and Bella's lover Edward Cullen in the fantasy film series. Jennifer found it challenging to find the perfect colour for his character.
"The hardest colour to create was for Rob. I knew there would be a lot of people watching to see what his hair colour would be for this film and there are a lot of critics that want him to be perfectly Edward," she said.
"We kept his colour close to some of the other films but it had to be a little deeper this time. You will see why when the next film comes out."
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 hits cinemas next year.
