Kylie Jenner: Blonde’s not for me
Kylie Jenner insists she won’t be copying sister Kim Kardashian in dyeing her hair platinum blonde, because it’s “her thing”.
The 17-year-old reality star has a history of going for unique colour changes when it comes to her hair.
But after her sister Kim Kardashian stunned the world by unveiling her new platinum locks, Kylie insists she won’t be copying her sibling.
“I love changing my hair so I would go that far, but, it’s her thing now, so I don’t wanna copy her!” Kylie told E! News during an appearance in London last week. “But I’ll find something else, I’m sure.”
Kylie’s comments come after Kourtney Kardashian posted a fun picture on her Instagram of all her siblings as well as their mother, Kris Jenner, with Kim’s hair Photoshopped on.
“Do blondes have more fun?!” Kourtney captioned the shot.
However, while Kylie doesn’t want to copy Kim, her older sister is more amenable to taking style inspiration from her sibling.
Kim, 34, who frequently borrows teenager Kylie’s clothes, recently admitted she would like to experiment with the teal shade of hair her sister sported earlier this year.
“I think it would be really fun to try that short turquoise hair that Kylie has,” Kim told People.
Kim wowed her fans when she unveiled her platinum blonde ’do in Paris during Fashion Week earlier this month.
And her colourist Lorri Goddard, of Goddard + Bragg salon in West Hollywood, says Kim had been considering taking the leap with the new hairstyle for quite some time now.
"It's a really fun adventure for her!" Lorri gushed to Us Weekly magazine. "It's something she's said outright that she's been thinking about for a while, but the time just hasn't been right."
