Kylie Jenner shares more lipstick tips

Make-up maven Kylie Jenner has shared some of her unusual methods for achieving a perfect pout.

Kylie Jenner uses a make-up bag staple to achieve her dramatic black lips.

The reality TV star and make-up maven is known for experimenting with different beauty looks and has experienced success with her wildly popular range of matte lip glosses for her Kylie Lip Kit line.

With models at Givenchy and Dior's latest fashion shows rocking lacquered black lips, Kylie has been quick to pick up on the trend and try the look herself.

Posting on Instagram recently, Kylie shares that she opted to fill her lips in with black eyeliner when she was seeking an edgy image but couldn't find a suitable matte black lipstick on the market.

"Black Lips Forever. I used black eyeliner when it wasn't as easy to find matte black lipstick," the star wrote on a post on her Kylie Cosmetics page. And on her personal page, she shared a sweet throwback photo of herself with green hair and black lips, with the Kardashian-Jenner families long-time make-up artist Joyce Bonelli appearing in the background of the snap.

"I did it for her back (Joyce) when I only dreamed of having my own lip line," she wrote in the accompanying caption. "16 yr old me would be so proud @kyliecosmetics this new kit is so important to me (sic)."

The 18-year-old unveiled the latest additions to her lipstick line earlier this month (10Jun16), and revealed she would be including a black lipstick called Dead of Knight in the range.

Kylie also treated her 63.7 million followers to a few snaps from a photo shoot specifically for Dead of Knight. In a black and white shot, she posed in a long-sleeved mesh dress with her long brunette locks flowing. Along with the dark shade, Kylie is also launching a metallic blue-black shimmer lipstick called Ky Majesty, sure to please fans of her blossoming collection of Lip Kits which were launched last November (15) and boast universally flattering nudes as well as more playful metallic gold and silver hues.
