Léa Seydoux keeps skincare simple

Léa Seydoux doesn't have a beauty regime and finds it boring to have good taste all the time.

The stunning French actress has fast become a beauty icon, with roles in films such as Inglourious Basterds and Midnight in Paris propelling her Hollywood career.

Instead of slaving over daily rituals, Léa has a select few hero products that she likes to use on her face and body.

"I don't have a regime," she smiled to the British edition of Elle magazine. "I take a contraceptive that helps my skin, otherwise I would have acne. When I do use cream, I use La Roche-Posay. I use oil on my skin at night: Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Concentrate on my face and bio-Oil on my body."

Instead of purchasing high-end lotions and potions, Léa is a big fan of her local drug store.

"French pharmacies are the best. La Roche-Posay is my favourite brand. I also love Puressentiel, its Sleep Easy Spray helps me breath and relax. If I were going on a desert island, I'd take lip balm. I love Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Intensive Lip Repair Balm," she revealed.

And when it comes to her beauty and style icons, the 28-year-old star says it's all comes down to attitude rather than products.

"There are women I find very elegant - Grace Kelly and the late Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy [wife of John F. Kennedy, Jr.] were very chic. It's more about how you behave; style is not about fashion. But I'm not crazy about good taste all the time - it's a little boring," she mused.
