Lady Gaga accessorises fingers

Lady Gaga rocked huge gold jewellery at the launch of her Fame fragrance in London last night.

The pop star wore a surprisingly demure outfit for her appearance at luxury store Harrods in London's Knightsbridge.

The 26-year-old surprised fans with her toned down black shift bodycon dress and classic make-up.

The low-key outfit choice drew more attention to the newly brunette star's extraordinary blinged up talons. Gaga's huge gold jewellery was encrusted all over her wrists and on every finger. It was similar to the look sported by Beyoncé Knowles in her Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) video.

Earlier in the day Gaga tweeted about her excitement for that evening's unveiling of her debut perfume.

"So excited, going to be at @Harrods in an hour! Just drove though London, so beautiful seeing all the Sunday strollers in love... (sic)" she tweeted.

The Bad Romance singer walked down a black carpet to enter the legendary store for the launch, with the walkway matching the colour of the perfume.

It is the first black fragrance that becomes clear once it has been sprayed and contains the poisonous flower Belladonna, sweet honey drops, saffron and apricot.

She has previously described the reaction to her floral perfume as "overwhelming". It is claimed six million bottles of Fame were sold in its first week, making it the second fastest selling fragrance after Coco Chanel.

Inside the store Lady Gaga reportedly held a tea party for 75 competition winners.

Music was provided by her friend DJ White Shadow, while the lucky guests ate black macaroons.

According to reports by British newspaper the Telegraph, fans assembled to see their favourite star were disappointed by her appearance.

The Born This Way star reportedly arrived late and spent little time talking to fans.

Allegedly she was greeted by boos from the crowd as a result.
