Lady Gaga to provide Thierry Mugler music

Thierry Mugler’s upcoming menswear show will feature music from Lady Gaga, reportedly including a brand new track.

Nicola Formichetti is creative director of the fashion house, and also works as a stylist for the flamboyant singer. Gaga has agreed to create the musical backdrop for the collection, which will hit the catwalk in Paris on Wednesday, and is expected to give the audience something extra special.

“Nicola told us that Gaga would be ‘musical director’ for the show, among the most anticipated debuts of Men's Fashion Week, which runs through Jan. 23 in the French capital,” reports WWD. “Word has it she will remix a never-heard track from her forthcoming album, due out in May.”

Nicola started work with Thierry Mugler last year, and has been helping new designers Sébastien Peigné and Romain Kremer settle in.

He has also worked hard to boost interest in the brand online, using the internet to reveal snippets of the new collection ahead of time.

Nicola is an accomplished stylist, working on shoots for publications including Dazed & Confused, Dazed & Confused Japan, Another and Another Man magazines. His work has also featured in V and Harper’s Bazaar.
