Lauren Conrad: I love my cutout swimsuit

Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad says a Pucci bathing suit with "the coolest cutouts" is her favourite recent purchase for the summer.

The reality TV star-turned-designer named the items she's recently purchased at an event where she was promoting Malibu's new Island Spiced drink.

Lauren was first introduced to the swimsuit on a photoshoot, following which she went straight to vintage store Paper Bag Princess to buy one.

"A vintage Pucci bathing suit with the coolest cutouts," she listed to Lucky magazine about her recent buys. "And lots of easy summer things, sundresses, since I'm planning to spend some time in Nantucket this summer."

The new beverage Lauren is promoting is a coconut-infused rum sweetened with Truvia, which is only 70 calories. The diet properties of the drink appealed to her as well as the taste.

"It tastes kind of piña colada-y without all the calories," Lauren explained. "Have you ever looked at what's in one of those things? It's scary."

Lauren rocked a strong and striking eyeliner look at the event where she showed how to perfectly pull off a cat's eye flick. She also showed off some cool-looking bling on her fingers and wrists which came from a recent trip to Fred Segal in Los Angeles. The style icon said her girlfriends also picked up matching rings during their trip to the store.
