LeAnn Rimes opts for men's outfit
LeAnn Rimes wore "comfortable" men's clothes to a New York Fashion Week show.
The American songstress turned up to the Michael Bastian show on Monday dressed in grey trousers and a check shirt.
The star loved choosing comfort over practicality.
"I'm in some hot, comfortable men's clothes headed to the wonderfully talented Michael Bastian's show!" she Tweeted. "Never have I been so comfee (sic)!"
Michael was recently honoured with the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards Menswear Designer of the Year Award. He fitted LeAnn in the look over the weekend so she could wear it to the show.
The stunning star was thrilled to be working with the acclaimed fashionista.
"It's men's wear, but a totally fun twist cause of "Lady & Gentlemen"" she Tweeted on Saturday. "Love playing dress up with this year's CFDA winner (sic)!"
LeAnn also attended Monique Lhuillier's show on Saturday night.
The songstress was accompanied by husband Eddie Cibrian, and was delighted that he shared in the experience.
"I love Monique, she is one of my favourite designers," she told People. "So it's nice to come out and support her, and this is Eddie's first show with me. So it's fresh."
LeAnn revealed it took her approximately 30 minutes to get ready ahead of the show. Eddie admitted his look took a little longer to perfect.
"It took me an hour and a half," he quipped. "And there is a big discrepancy there, and I don't like that."
Mandy Moore and Julianne Hough also sat in the front row at the show. Mandy loved the cocktail dresses and leather-trimmed gowns on offer.
"Gorgeous," she revealed. "I'm obsessed. I thought it was brilliant."
Meanwhile, Kylie Jenner has made her catwalk debut at New York Fashion Week. The half-sister of Kim, Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian walked the runway for Avril Lavigne's label Abbey Dawn yesterday.
The star looked stunning in a black mini dress with a tulle overlay.
Her older sisters Kendall, Kourtney, Kim and husband Kris Humphries, and brother-and-Avril's-boyfriend Brody Jenner all cheered on the young star from the front row.
