LiLo: I did my GQ hair
Lindsay Lohan has recalled her low-key beauty regime for Tuesday night's GQ Awards.
The 28-year-old actress headed to the event in London on Tuesday night, wearing a glitzy zebra-print dress by Balmain. She let the gown with a thigh-high split do the talking and left her hair in a messy ponytail.
"To get ready for tonight, I let all my hair be natural and I literally just tied it up and my hairstylist, Alex, was like, 'Lindsay! Oh my god, leave it like that. Don't take that out!'" she recalled to British newspaper Metro.
"And then she pinned it the way I had it."
During the night, Lindsay practised for her impending stint in West End play Speed-the-Plow by taking to the stage to present Tom Kerridge with the Chef of the Year award.
Luckily there were no awkward tumbles, as the Mean Girls star planned ahead with footwear she could walk in.
"My heels are from my friend's store, Curve, in New York," she shared. "They might look painful but are actually very comfortable."
Lindsay marvelled that it was the first GQ party she had been to in "years and years", adding she loved presenting the chef award because she has a passion for cooking.
The star also gave an insight into why she picked the monochrome outfit.
"For my dress, my friends were shopping at Harrods and they were like, 'Come and look at dresses here,'" she said. "My friend's family is with Balmain and I love them, so I picked a Balmain."
