LiLo loves Lavish Alice collection
Lindsay Lohan has celebrated the launch of her new clothing collaboration.
The 28-year-old actress has teamed up with UK retailer Lavish Alice for a 16-piece capsule collection. The Autumn/Winter 15 line hit the store today, with Lindsay sharing her excitement at posing for esteemed photographer Rankin for the accompanying shots.
"Happy Monday everyone! I had the best time shooting my collection for @lavishalice with @rankinarchive," she wrote on Instagram.
"Hope you enjoy the clothes as much as I do (sic)!!"
Accompanying the caption was a picture of Lindsay pulling a high-fashion pose in some pieces from the line. She's seen in a pair of cream flared trousers and matching coloured top, which is structured and has a cascading waterfall back detail.
The offering seems to have gone down well with fans as the post received over ten thousand likes in less than 20 minutes.
Lindsay has been heavily promoting the range on her social media channels, giving her fans a heads up that it had gone live early this morning. She also let them know the launch was on countdown last night.
"Can't wait to share my new @LavishAlice collection w/ everyone tomorrow! Please shop online LavishAlice.com (sic)," she wrote.
The star based her designs on the kind of things she likes to wear, going for clean lines with a little edge in the form of tassels and fringing.
"I’ve been a huge fan of Lavish Alice since moving to London, it’s a cool British brand and a collaboration with them was a natural next step," she explained in an official statement. "Designing with the team was a dream, as they really understand my style. Fashion designing is every girl’s fantasy and I’ve had so much fun putting my stamp on the brand. Their pieces really work for my busy lifestyle and make me feel confident and sexy. I hope my fans love it as much as I do."
The collection ranges in price from £38 to £74 and is available via the Lavish Alice website as well as ASOS and Nasty Gal.
This isn't Lindsay's first foray into fashion - she had a brief stint as artistic advisor at Emanuel Ungaro between 2009 and 2010 and also a clothing line called 6126.
