Lily Collins confused about clothes

Lily Collins

Lily Collins is still confused about the clothes that suit her.

The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones star has been making glamorous appearances on the red carpet to promote the adventure film.

While Lily might look like she knows her fashion stuff, the pretty brunette is still unsure when it comes to selecting outfits.

“As much as I love helping pick out clothes for other people, I think it’s so difficult when I can’t even figure out what is totally my style,” she told Flaunt magazine.

“I think it takes a really good eye to mix prints, and the stylists who I work with are incredible… I can go, ‘I don’t know,’ and then try it on and say, ‘Oh, my God you are so right,’ but I could have never put it together.”

The 24-year-old goes Goth for the publication, wearing her hair up in a coloured Mohican and sporting super heavy black eye make-up.

For the recent Mortal Instruments premiere in Spain, Lily wore custom-made Hough in bright red.

These days, the actress isn’t afraid to mix it up.

“I like to have fun and experiment and only recently in the past year and a half, I’ve started to try being a bit edger… Not overtly sexy, because I would never do that, but a classy refined version of sexy, just a bit older,” she explained.

“I’m a bit schizophrenic in my fashion. One day I’m wearing ripped jeans and lighter tones, and the next day I want to be really dark and edgy.”
