Lily Collins for Lancôme?

Lily Collins

Lily Collins is expected to be announced as Lancôme's latest global ambassadress today.

The British actress and daughter of singer Phil Collins is expected to be announced as the latest face of the brand today.

If the rumours are true Lily will join fellow star Julia Roberts, who is the face of Lancôme, in her duties which are expected to begin in January.

This role comes in time for her to help promote the luxury label's spring 14 colour cosmetics collection, French Ballerine.

Lily has already voiced her love for the brand and revealed she was wearing their mascara and nail polish during Paris Fashion Week on Vogue UK's online blog.

She was spotted at Givenchy's show in the French capital over the weekend, where she sat alongside the likes of Ciara, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.

The brunette star recently explained how her latest role in film The Mortal Instruments: City Of Bones helped her experiment with her style more. She also took home some outfits which she enjoyed wearing while playing the character of Clary who is a Shadowhunter.

"I wanted to keep those [thigh-high] boots but I didn't. When I played a Shadowhunter, all of a sudden, it was the leather and the edgier, sexier style, yet never reaching that point where it is trashy," she laughed.

"I'm 24 and want to experiment with style. The film has also influenced my choices, just to play around with hair and make-up. I kept the blue leather jacket that I wore that got all ripped up and a pair of my Doc Martens because that is the essence of Clary."
