Lindsay Lohan is eager to begin exercising again after leaving rehab at the end of July.
The troubled actress left the Cliffside Malibu clinic at the end of July following a court-ordered 90-day treatment programme.
Lindsay has struggled with alcohol and drug abuse and is now determined to turn her life around. After being taught to "let go" of her obsession with her size in rehab, the star is now eager to put on a few pounds.
"Lindsay was shown that losing lots of weight was actually a warning she could be in trouble. She's made peace with the fact that at least for now, she's not going to be super-skinny if she's sober. She was scared of gaining weight, but then decided that she needed to be sober more than she needed to be thin," a source told UK magazine Heat.
"Lindsay's been eating red velvet cupcakes - but she's keen to begin exercising again. Moving from LA and all her toxic friends to the East Coast has been another good choice, and she's been hanging out loads with her little sister Ali too."
Lindsay, 27, has sparked concern in the past over her worryingly skinny frame. She has been looking healthier of late, with her famous curves making a welcome appearance again.
She showcased her fuller figure in a curve-skimming dress for an exclusive TV interview with Oprah last week.
