Lively for L'Oréal
Blake Lively is the new celebrity spokeswoman for L'Oréal Paris.
The American actress is the latest celebrity to become the face of the beauty giant, joining the likes of Eva Longoria and Doutzen Kroes.
L'Oréal Paris announced the news via their Instagram, where they posted a photo of Blake standing on a stage with the company's name in the background.
Translated from French the caption alongside the picture reads: "Exclusive announcement: We welcome the gorgeous and talented Blake Lively new ambassador L'Oreal Paris! Definitely worth it! @blakelively (sic)"
Brand Global President of L'Oréal Paris, Cyril Chapuy, is thrilled the 26-year-old actress has joined the team. He thinks Blake's beautiful features are ideal to show off the products in their vast range.
"Blake embodies all the modern codes of Hollywood glamour. She is flashing a substantial swath of upper elegance and sensuality," Cyril gushed. "She has become a beauty icon for a whole generation with her gorgeous gold-dipped hair, luminous gaze and drop-dead smile. Today, this strong, charismatic and definitely glowing actress is joining the L'Oréal Paris family. And we're so proud to welcome her."
Blake has previously appeared in campaigns for Gucci and Chanel but this deal will be her biggest to date.
E! News report it is a "multi-million dollar" contract which will see Blake appear in advertisements as of 2014.
She previously spoke about how influential she thinks women of the brand are.
"[L'Oréal spokeswomen] are not just beautiful women, they are women of character," she recently told Vogue Paris.
