Lopez: Versace is my go-to
Jennifer Lopez looked stunning in white at the Atelier Versace show in Paris yesterday.
The singer has a long-standing history with the brand and its chief designer Donatella, famously wearing a super low-cut green number by the label to the Grammys in 2000.
Yesterday Jennifer attended the Atelier Versace fashion show in Paris, wearing a white gown by Donatella with a thigh-high split and silver detail at the side.
Last month she performed a free concert in the Bronx, New York, where she grew up, and Jennifer sported an entirely Versace wardrobe.
“They did every single look and it was just out of this world. You know, I have a long history with Donatella, obviously, with Versace, and I don’t know, it’s always one of my go-tos because they know my body," she explained to WWD.
"Luigi [Massi], their designer, just knows everything about me. It’s just one of those things when you have chemistry with somebody."
The mother-of-two may be gearing up to celebrate her 45th birthday on July 24, but it hasn't stopped her from performing energetically in tiny outfits. She thinks it takes a specific skill to be able to look good in front of a crowd.
"When you’re onstage, there’s so much that goes into it. You have to be able to move, it has to be beautiful but it has to be functional as well, and not everybody can do that," she reasoned.
Jennifer finished off her look at yesterday's show in a pair of sky-high white stilettos. She pulled her hair back into a sleek ponytail and added large gold earrings.
Nina Dobrev and Leigh Lezark also attended, with actress Nina picking a short red and black dress, while DJ Leigh went for a black asymmetrical dress.
