Lupita Nyong'o has dubbed her new Vogue US cover one of her "most memorable" shoots to date after modelling couture gowns fresh off the runway.

(Cover) - EN Star Style - Lupita Nyong’o found posing in couture for Vogue magazine a “spectacular experience”.

The 32-year-old actress has been turning heads on the red carpet since her Oscar-winning breakout role in 2013's 12 Years A Slave.

She landed her first American Vogue cover last summer (14), and now she is gracing the front of the publication's October (15) issue.

Lupita dazzles on the cover in a gold Valentino Haute Couture dress with red and black accents in shots taken by top fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

The actress was given the opportunity to showcase new samples from Paris Couture Week for the shoot, and donning the luxury items made her glow inside and out.

"This was one of the most memorable shoots for me, and interview experiences," she told US show The View of the La Femme Lupita article. "I mean, I was wearing couture and it felt so good to be wearing all these handmade pieces that had been made with so many hands and so much care. I mean, I felt really, really beautiful in this shoot.

“Mert and Marcus, whom I've worked with many times, they were the photographers, they made me feel at home and it was just such a spectacular experience."

Her looks included an Atelier Versace embroidered chain minidress, a Chanel beaded gown and a Dolce & Gabbana Alta Moda sequinned cape.

Lupita frequently tops the best-dressed lists at events thanks to her unique and covetable sense of style.

And she revealed in a recent interview that supermodel Iman and singer Grace Jones are among her fashion inspirations.

“My glam squad [inspire my look], and I also look at iconic images of Iman, Grace Jones, and Liz Taylor from the 70s and 80s. If I look in the mirror and like what I see, I leave!" she told British InStyle magazine.
