Marc Jacobs and Carine Roitfeld are trying to come up with a "little project" they can work on together.
The fashion designer and former editor of French Vogue are good friends. Marc is continually amazed by the impact Carine has on fashion and would love to team up with her before too long.
"We're trying to think of a little project for us to do together," he told style.com.
"You look forward to things when Carine is involved. You look forward to what she's doing, who she's working with, what clothes she's using. There is always something you don't expect; you just don't know. It's really inspiring."
The designer was talking at a special event held at his Bookmarc store in New York City. Carine was there to sign copies on her new tome Irreverent and Marc couldn't help praising her.
Carine's daughter Julia Restoin-Roitfeld is currently expecting her first baby, which she is thrilled about.
"She has a mission in fashion. She's a great editor, a really creative voice and she's a wonderful mother. And she's a soon-to-be grandmother. So, how many people can look like this, have an incredible eye for fashion, make memorable images, raise beautiful children and become a grandmother?" Marc said.
Carine laughed: "I'll be pushing a stroller very soon."
