Marion Cotillard classic in black
Marion Cotillard went for classic glamour at the IFP's 22nd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards last night.
The French actress proved black does not have to equal boring in her gorgeous Dior dress, which helped her dazzle on the red carpet at Cipriani Wall Street, New York.
Marion added an expensive touch of sparkle to her ensemble in the form of Chopard jewels.
Pointed heels and slicked back hair finished off her formal yet fun look.
During the course of the show, the 37-year-old was toasted with a career tribute, along with her fellow Academy Award-winning actor Matt Damon.
Matt showed off a shaven head at the festivities and pulled off a dapper black suit, accessorised with a crisp white shirt.
A leading lady who dazzled at the ceremony was Amy Adams, who also opted for a black number.
The beautiful redhead chose a one-shouldered peplum style to make the most of her slender figure.
Her Giorgio Armani dress was accessorised perfectly with Brian Atwood shoes, Lorraine Schwartz earrings and a Christian Louboutin clutch.
Comedy drama Moonrise Kingdom, starring Bruce Willis and Tilda Swinton, won big on the night, collecting the accolade for Best Feature.
Bradley Cooper film Silver Linings Playbook was nominated for Best Ensemble Performance but narrowly missed out to Your Sister's Sister, starring Emily Blunt.
Emily Blunt herself opted for an angelic look, choosing a white Calvin Klein dress and strappy Jimmy Choo shoes.
