Matthew Morrison launches fashion line for stylish dads
The former Glee star has plenty of items available for Father's Day gifts.
Actor Matthew Morrison has launched a line of clothes and accessories for modern fathers.
The former Glee star has teamed up with his friend Zach McDuffie, a photographer, dad and entrepreneur, to launch Sherpapa Supply Co., a treasure trove of appealing gifts for this month's Father's Day holiday (18June17).
The pair debuted the line at trendy Los Angeles restaurant Catch LA, where dad-to-be Matthew and his partner were joined by Chace Crawford and Oprah Winfrey's style guru Nate Berkus.
"It’s about more than just selling gear at the end of the day for us," Matthew shared with InStyle magazine at the launch. “It’s about inspiring present and proactive fathers.
"I'm about to be a father for the first time and I’m so excited. I feel like it’s going to be the biggest adventure of my life, but I don’t want to wear a diaper bag with a big pink elephant on it," the actor and singer joked. "Our line reflects that classic style of the people we love, like Steve McQueen and Paul Newman."
Matthew also admits he began working on the line before he began working on a baby, though he knew all along that he wanted to be a family man.
"With pregnancy you never know what’s going to happen, but we knew in our minds the timeline we wanted to do," he revealed. "But the (diaper) bags definitely came first, with the idea of our little one in mind."
Matthew has not yet revealed his tot's due date but did share that he and his wife Renee already have a nickname for him or her - "Little Mo".
