Mel B: I prefer exercise bursts
Mel B "refuses" to work out for more than an hour at a time.
The former Spice Girl is mother to girls Phoenix Chi, Angel Iris and Madison, but has managed to keep her post-pregnancy figure trim.
The 37-year-old swears by exercise in small doses and getting plenty of fresh air.
"I do running and walking, some abs, sit-ups. But only ever for 55 minutes, I refuse to do longer than an hour," she confessed to British magazine OK!
"It's so beautiful outside so I do beach runs and coastal runs, which keeps it really fresh and pretty."
The mother-of-three served as a judge on the Australian X Factor last year.
Being on television means always looking her best, and the singer follows a fairly strict diet.
"I do the whole Jenny Craig [diet] thing and have done it quite intensely for the past year and that keeps me on track," she explained.
"I do it about three or four days a week now and I work out at least three times a week. So yes, just keeping it healthy and trim."
On the days off from her diet, Mel makes sure she allows herself the odd treat.
"Of course I do [treat myself], you have to have a treat day with some chocolate, you just have to get back on the wagon," she assured.
