Michael Kors to launch leather line
Michael Kors is launching a limited edition range of leather goods in Tokyo.
The American fashion designer has created a special handbag called the Hamilton which he will present during Tokyo's Fashion Night Out next month.
He's also come up with a number of other leather pieces, and will sell them to aid charity.
"The Project Runway star will debut a limited -edition Hamilton handbag and leather goods collection with all proceeds going to the Japanese Red Cross Society," reports New York Post.
A special event is being held in honour of the designer while he is in the Japanese capital city. He is travelling there to open a new shop and so it seemed the perfect time to pay tribute to him. The bash is being help at a home owned by US Ambassador John Roos, according to the publication.
While other details are scarce, it's known singer Jennifer Hudson will be on hand to provide the entertainment.
Tokyo's Fashion Night Out will take place on November 5, with Anna Wintour, Alexandra Shulman and Emmanuelle Alt all attending.
